On January 22nd we welcome the Year of the Water Rabbit as the Lunar New Year begins and this is something to celebrate because the Rabbit brings some beautiful qualities, especially good luck!
I have always found that I align with Chinese Astrology and my sign of the Goat, more than other astrology I have read…if you are uncertain of your sign, look to the chart below this post and search for the year you were born.
Chinese philosophy aligns each animal sign with one of five elements because the five elements of - wood, fire, earth, metal and water are believed to be the fundamental elements to everything that exists in the universe and the elements are intimately connected, some serving each other more than others with natural yin and yang.
This year the Rabbit aligns with the element of Water and water feeds wood (trees, plants, etc) so if you remember my recent post on ‘2023 - Be a Beloved Branch of the Sacred Living Tree” you will be feeling super excited because water and wood serve each other in phenomenal ways to make growth and good fortune happen!
Another magical aspect of the Water Rabbit is that Chinese Astrology aligns the colour of water with the colour of Black. I always speak of the colour Black as being ‘the womb of no-thing’ because it is truly a very fertile space to create something new…it is a place of infinite possibilities!
This year offers so much sparkle; it is the year to ride your own wave of wonderful! A year when your heart intentions, that you have been seeding for several years, bear fruit. Success is rarely an overnight sensation. It is born of dedication, discipline, devotion and the embodiment of your I AM presence and power, outside of any external influence…it is a decision that you made in the sanctum of your soul to ‘Rise Your Own Way’. There has been a lot of control and manipulation messing with your magic over the past few years, but if you stayed true to you, then this is your year!
Fresh financial flows, loving relationships, advancing with ease and grace, ‘bang-on’ intuition, the nurture of nature and the gentle breeze of business beginnings that hold longevity and lasting success are all the windfalls of the Water Rabbit…everything will feel fertile when you seek to find fulfilment in the work that you love to do…even if it is simply a love to serve in any way that you can. Seek the Joy in your Journey!
Make the most of this year by embracing the energy with a heart wide open. Your greatest strength will be found when you focus on peace, harmony, happiness and compassion. Those born with the sign of the Tiger or Rooster must be vigilant with their values and keeping love on top of the pile, but you guys love a challenge and will thrive if you trust in your own truth.
The Year of the Water Rabbit is a year to get creative with all the natural gifts that you have been given…there is an ocean of opportunity out there, choose to see beyond your own box of limitations, stay in your own lane of love and focus on the word fulfilment…if your not ‘feeling it’ find another way.
All blessings of love and illumination, Tanya xxx
