Crafted from cosy printed cotton and spandex and lined with super-soft poly-fleece, Heart of Gold is rich in history, romance and symbolism and made to be worn, treasured and loved for years to come.

The print is an intricate collage of antique artwork, bringing together exquisite details from history: hand-painted swallows from an 1865 scrapbook, delicate floral wreaths by 1600s artist Karel Batist, and a very special Sacred Heart from Notre Dame in France, embroidered with gilded thread and completed in 1872.

Every element tells a story.

Two swallows with their wings outstretched - traditional symbols of loyalty - carry a ribbon between them, capturing the idea that distance can never truly separate the people we love. At the heart of the design, a vintage banner taken from a Victorian-era painted sign that declares:

“Friendship, Love, and Truth.”
