Wallis spent most of his working life at sea and only began painting at the age of seventy. In 1928, he was discovered in St Ives by artists Ben Nicholson and Christopher Wood, who were captivated by his ‘naive’ yet powerful depictions of fishing boats and coastal life.

Lovingly handmade in the UK using a cotton/linen blend, this cushion is a heartfelt tribute to Wallis’s unique vision. The design is printed on one side only, allowing the artwork to take centre stage. It’s also machine washable (please check the care label before washing).
