There is a region in the South of France called the Camargue. It is where beloved Mary Magdalene and companions landed after being cast out of Palestine, and Her arrival changed the heart of the entire Provence.

In the village of Saintes-Maries-de-la-Mer (Saint Marys' of the Sea) the Camargue Cross was born; formed with a Latin cross, whose upper end represents a three-pronged fork ( a working tool used by the guardians or ‘cowboys’ of the region ) and a lower end that is a sea anchor topped by a heart.
